Some 8,000 people registered for the Race for the Cure event in Bosnia’s capital.

All funds collected from registrations will be used for the distribution of first aid packages to every newly operated woman in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the organization of free mammography examinations for the socially vulnerable population, psychosocial assistance to sick women and education of citizens about the disease.

The goal of this humanitarian event is to support women in the fight against breast cancer and to point out the importance of regular preventive examinations.
