The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute (FHMZ) of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued a red alert for the entire country due to high temperatures expected today. The red alert is in effect from 11 AM to 6 PM.

Today's highest temperatures will range between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius.

“Take precautions, as extreme high temperatures are expected. Protect yourself and assist vulnerable individuals. Follow the advice of authorized bodies. Expect possible infrastructure failures. For more information, contact the relevant institutions,” according to recommendations from the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
