Ministry of Internal Affairs in Bosnia's Republika Srpska entity said there was a possibility that the safety of Milorad Dodik, the Serb member of Bosnia's three-member Presidency, was in jeopardy so the police took the adequate measures.
According to the ministry's statement, they received the information from partner services that “certain groups” are threatening the safety of Dodik and his family, so the security has been raised to the highest level.
The said measures will remain in effect until all facts regarding this information are fully inspected, said the Republika Srpska entity ministry.
Dodik is the Bosnia Presidency member elected in the Serb-majority part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
