The leader of the Law and Order List and member of the Republika Srpska (RS) entity National Assembly, Nebojsa Vukanovic, presented a series of serious accusations against the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, without presenting any concrete evidence for such claims.
“Why isn't Schmidt suing me? Why doesn't he go public and say whom he met in Belgrade last year at the Madera restaurant and who was the mediator? How much money did he take? Now I'm asking him publicly – how much money did he take from [RS President Milorad] Dodik and his people in order to amnesty the election theft and what was he arranging with him,” said Vukanovic claiming that Dodik had committed an alleged election fraud in 2022.
He then told N1 he had evidence for these claims, and explained what it was all about.
“After the election, there was information that he met with the [Serbian] Patriarch, which they denied. But Schmidt crossed the Drina river and met with Dodik's men, and there an agreement was reached that the Central Election Commission of BiH would say 15,000 votes were stolen, but it didn't matter, there was a theft, there was violence, there were armed men breaking boxes, altering records, but it doesn't matter, this is a banana country so this can pass. Why didn't he inform us, why did he change the policy? He filled his pockets well, and yet he was accused of corruption in Germany, who then sent us such a man,” Vukanovic claimed in N1's programme.
