The agreement to abolish roaming charges covers Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, and Serbia. It was signed in April 2019 at the second Western Balkans Digital Summit in Belgrade. The first stage of implementation brought reductions of 83 and 96 percent in roaming charges before being completely abolished on July 1.

BH Telecom, one of Bosnia's largest mobile phone services providers, said on its website that its users will not be paying additional taxes while using their mobile phones in the region as of July 1.

“Your calls (to mobile and landline numbers), text messages (SMS), and mobile data will be charged the same as if you were using it in your own country,” said BH Telecom, adding that the same will apply for all calls and text messages the users receive while staying in Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, and Kosovo.
