Romanian fans warned they will be detained if they bring banner glorifying war criminal Ratko Mladic to Bosnia and Herzegovina

According to information obtained by N1, the Romanian Football Federation sent a warning to its supporters ahead of their arrival in Zenica.

“Ultras groups have been notified that if police find these banners in their possession, they will all be detained, because glorifying war criminals is a criminal offense in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” N1 reporter Haris Mrkonja reports from Zenica.

A banner prepared by Romanian fans in Belgrade appeared on social media, featuring an English message expressing support for one of the most notorious war criminals of the Bosnian war, Ratko Mladic.

“Mladic is a European hero, he reduces Muslims to zero,” the Romanian fans’ provocation read.
