RS Assembly Speaker Stevandic refuses to appear before BiH Prosecutor

“I cannot be in Sarajevo tomorrow. I have a session of the Assembly Board and my constitutional duties take priority,” Stevandic stated, adding that the Constitutional Court of RS had approved the recently adopted Law on Immunity.

Stevandic argued that the BiH Prosecutor’s Office and Court have no jurisdiction over RSNA affairs, accusing them of violating the constitution and engaging in discrimination. He, along with RS President Milorad Dodik, has been summoned as a suspect in a case related to undermining BiH’s constitutional order.

If Stevandic continues to ignore the summons, legal procedures could escalate, including a second summons, potential arrest with the involvement of SIPA, and ultimately, the issuance of a warrant.
