RS Election Commission refuses to organise early presidential vote, state watchdog says they’re not competent

The Republika Srpska Election Commission (RIK RS) announced on Wednesday, following an extraordinary telephone session, that it would not take part in organizing the upcoming early elections for the President of Republika Srpska. However, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH) clarified that RIK RS does not participate in early presidential elections in any case, as municipal and city commissions handle these.
