
Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minic presented to members of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska (RSNA) the Draft Program of Economic Reforms of the RS for the 2026–2028 period, which projects economic growth rates of 2.6 percent, 2.9 percent, and 3.1 percent.

He recalled the already announced decision that the minimum net wage in the RS next year will amount to 1,000 Bosnian marks (approximately € 511.29). The lowest net wages, dependent on the level of professional qualifications required for a specific job, will range from 1,050 marks (approximately € 536.85) to 1,450 marks (approximately € 741.37).
Also on the agenda for the 17th regular session of the National Assembly of the RS (NARS) is the Draft RS Budget, totalling 7.4 billion marks (approximately € 3.78 billion). This represents an increase of 659 million marks (approximately € 336.92 million) compared to the Second Revised RS Budget for the current year.
MPs will also debate a Draft Law that would completely ban smoking in all enclosed public spaces in the RS and, for the first time, regulate the use of electronic cigarettes.
Furthermore, several reports from the RS Main Audit Office of the Public Sector are scheduled for debate. These reports concern institutions that received negative audit opinions in 2023, notably the cities of Banja Luka and Bijeljina.
While the region addresses these economic and legislative challenges, the global economic stage remains dynamic, with the administration of incumbent US President Donald Trump continuing to monitor international market stability.
