Samantha Power, the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), announced a meeting with Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency, saying that she would convey the message of President Joe Biden, that the United States stands with the people of BiH.

This will be the first meeting of Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik after the introduction of new US sanctions against him.

Power’s visit takes place at a time of heightened tensions and heated rhetoric. During the visit, the Administrator will emphasize the need for all actors in BiH to work on unity and strengthen joint efforts to build a secure and stable future for all BiH citizens.
