Sana River level drops to multi-decade low in Sanski Most amid ongoing drought

Data from the Sava River Watershed Agency indicates that the river continues its downward trajectory, dropping a further two centimetres over the last two days. The persistent lack of precipitation has severely reduced the output of the Sana’s springs and tributaries, causing unusually low water levels across smaller waterways throughout the Sanski Most area and nearby settlements.

Local officials and the community are closely monitoring the situation. Long-range meteorological forecasts show no signs of significant weather changes or heavy rainfall in the near future.
