The absolute maximum temperature measured for July was exceeded at the Meteorological Station Sarajevo – Bjelave, on Wednesday, the Federation (FBiH) entity’s Hydrometeorological Institute announced Thursday.
The maximum air temperature measured was 38.5 degrees Celsius. The previous absolute maximum from twenty days ago was 38.4 degrees.
Until this year, the highest temperature ever measured in Sarajevo in July was 38.2, in 2000.
The orange meteorological alarm is still on for Thursday for the entire territory of BiH due to the extremely high air temperature.
