Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office searched for suspected leak of confidential information

The search was carried out by officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior (MUP KS) under an order issued by the Special Department of the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with oversight from the Special Department of the Federation entity Prosecutor’s Office (POSKOK).

The Federation entity Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the operation to N1, stating that the search of official premises was conducted on suspicion that the prosecutor had leaked confidential case information to individuals under investigation for criminal activity.

"Evidence was seized during the search that will aid in the ongoing investigation. The operation was conducted under the supervision of the acting POSKOK prosecutor," the department stated.

At this time, neither MUP KS nor POSKOK have released additional details about the case, and the stage of the investigation remains unclear.
