To attend the events within the 27th Sarajevo Film Festival, visitors will have to provide a COVID pass, officially called a COVID-secure accreditation, spokesperson Andrijana Copf said a week before the festival's opening.

Sarajevo Film Festival is a COVID-safe event and will be held in accordance with the public health measures, recommended by the Sarajevo Canton healthcare institutions, said Copf.

This means that the guests will have to provide either a vaccination certificate, a negative antigen test or proof that they recovered from COVID not later than six months ago, she explained.

The pass can be obtained either online through the festival official website or onsite at the ticket sale Box Office.

This year's SFF will take place from August 13 through August 20.

The world premiere of the ‘Ten in a half’ film by Bosnian Oscar-winning filmmaker Danis Tanovic will open the festival.

All films that will be screened at several locations in Sarajevo will also be available on an online platform.
