Bosnia and Herzegovina will host this month the first in a series of tournaments within the European Judo Tour, the National Judo Federation of BiH announced on Friday.
The tournament will take place in the Bosnian capital on February 12-13, and will gather competitors from 27 countries.
“European Judo Tour is certainly a huge event. Such competitions and events largely promote sport in our country, which is very important for the development of judo in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Branislav Crnogorac, the President of the National Judo Federation of BiH.
The Bosnian national team will be represented by 15 judoka, with Aleksandra Samardzic and Toni Miletic as two outstanding athletes in their categories.
