Benjamina Karic, Sarajevo mayoress, greeted the citizens in Sarajevo Old Town on the occasion of Muslim's feast Eid al-Fitr, which is marked on Friday across the country.

Karic was handing baklavas to the citizens passing by a stand at the central square, wishing them happy holidays and taking photos with children.

She also conveyed a message on this occasion, wishing all Muslims, her fellow Sarajevans, a happy Eid.

“Let's not forget our elderly and the ill, nor those in trouble and those whom our help and care can be a great relief and comfort. May your Mubarak Eid days pass in good and blessing, fill your hearts with our beloved Sarajevo and our homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Karic wrote on social networks.
