The Sarajevo police announced the traffic incident, which involved the driver of a Range Rover car and the vehicle of the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nenad Nesic, did not constitute a criminal offence.

As stated in the report, officers of the Directorate for Police Bodies informed the “Center” Police Station about the Wednesday incident after which the police detained the driver of a Range Rover vehicle for obstructing the escort of a protected person.

“Police officers of ‘Center’ PS found the vehicle in question (‘Range Rover’), with BiH license plates, driven by K.H. (1977) from Sarajevo. The on-duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton was informed about this incident, who declared that there were no elements of a criminal offence”, Sarajevo Canton’s Interior Ministry stated.
One can conclude from their statement that there was no incident.

The Police added they will take measures and actions against the said driver in accordance with the law.

Earlier on Wednesday, Bosnia’s Security Ministry stated that Minister Nenad Nesic was allegedly attacked in Sarajevo, when an unknown driver cut off the path of his vehicle, despite clear warnings and orders from authorized persons in the column escorting him.
