Schmidt with Kavazovic: Dialogue and reconciliation key to Bosnia’s stability
High Representative Christian Schmidt met on Monday with the Grand Mufti in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein effendi Kavazovic, to discuss the important role that religious communities, as well as society as a whole, play in reconciliation and fostering dialogue, which are key elements in ensuring stability and preserving the multiethnic character of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“The international community remains steadfastly committed to the stability, progress, and well-being of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens.
Promoting dialogue and reconciliation within society is essential for building a prosperous future for everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said High Representative Christian Schmidt, as published on the X profile of the Office of the High Representative.
