Serbia loses 14 million USD under DOGE decision

The Serbian authorities are losing 14 million Dollars they expected to get from the US to improve public procurement under a decision by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

A DOGE X post said that the money to pay for improving public procurement in Serbia was being cancelled.

The DOGE, headed by Elon Musk, has been cutting down on US foreign aid since the Trump administration took over.

US taxpayer dollars were going to be spent on the following items, all which have been cancelled:

- $10M for "Mozambique voluntary medical male circumcision"

- $9.7M for UC Berkeley to develop "a cohort of Cambodian youth with enterprise driven skills"

- $2.3M for "strengthening…
