Serbia’s Vucic condemns detention order for Republika Srpska leaders
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has strongly criticized the arrest order issued by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik, RS Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic, and RS National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandic.

Vucic described the move as a threat to regional stability, claiming it fuels chaos rather than fostering peace. "This contributes to destabilization and the destruction of mutual ties in the region. Serbia will always stand for peace, respect the Dayton Agreement, and support RS and its leadership. Nowhere in the world are entity leaders imprisoned for political disagreements and words spoken," Vucic stated.
He also accused international officials of backing what he called an "open dictatorship" aimed at undermining both RS and Serbia. "Some are trying to dictate our future and take away our freedom, but they are mistaken if they think they will dismantle RS and Serbia," he asserted.
Dodik, Viskovic, and Stevandic are under investigation for allegedly undermining Bosnia and Herzegovina’s constitutional order.
