As of Monday, June 19, a single toll payment system will be available throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the roads both in the Federation and Republika Srpska entities.

The service is now available after the road management companies in two Bosnia's semi-autonomous administrative units signed a memorandum of cooperation in merging the system of electronic toll payment.

Namely, the users of the contactless tag device for electronic toll payment in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to use their devices in both entities after they register with the road management companies both in the Federation and Republika Srpska.

According to acting general manager of the Federation Motorways company Mirko Rogic, the costs remain the same, while the users will have two accounts registered on one their tag device – one for the pass in the Federation and other in Republika Srpska – with the payment being automatically conducted in favour of one of the road management companies.

Rogic also announced the service may expand to other countries in the region, primarily the Republic of Croatia.
