SIPA detains seven suspects in anti-terror raids across Bosanska Krupa and Bihac

In the night hours of October 25, 2024, police officers from the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), acting on orders from the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, conducted searches of residential and auxiliary buildings, as well as movable property, at nine locations in the areas of Bosanska Krupa and Bihac. Seven individuals were taken into custody.

The individuals were detained on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “Terrorism”.

During the searches, items that may serve as evidence in the criminal proceedings were discovered and temporarily seized.

These activities were carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior of the Una-Sana Canton, the Federal Police Administration, and the Intelligence-Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Of the seven individuals detained, SIPA officers will transfer six to the jurisdiction of the prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with a report on the criminal offense, later today (October 28, 2024), according to a statement from SIPA.
