Skopje to get monument dedicated to Srebrenica Genocide victims

Presidency member Sefik Dzaferovic met with North Macedonian MP Izet Meziti, the mayor of the municipality of Cair, where the monument will be erected, Visar Ganiu, and the leader of the Democratic Union for Integration, Rafet Muminovic.

He thanked the North Macedonian officials, saying that the project represents an important contribution to maintaining the memory of the Srebrenica genocide victims.

He said that everyone in the region should accept the verdicts of international courts regarding the Srebrenica genocide and that truth and justice are the only sound foundation on which to restore trust and build a better future.
