The long-awaited snow covered the mountains of Bosnia and Herzegovina Tuesday. On some mountains, these are the first snowflakes this year, which made all fans of winter sports happy, but there is still not enough snow for skiing at the moment.
In the Kozara National Park, the snow covered the entire area, as visible from the photos they published.
The Olympic Center Bjelasnica and Igman informed the public that the panoramic ride will not work until further notice, but that they are currently making artificial snow and hope to release a six-seater for skiers and boarders in a few days. Jahorina and Vlasic also turned white.
According to the forecasts of the FBiH Hydrometeorological Institute, during the night on Wednesday, sleet and light snow is expected in the mountainous regions, but also in the lower parts of the country.
