SNSD prefers not to participate in elections under imposed rules, calls for talks with opposition
The Presidency of SNSD party has decided not to make any decision regarding participation in the elections and to propose to the coalition to invite the opposition for talks on participation in the elections.
"Our proposal is not to participate in the elections under the rules set by the High Representative," stated party leader Milorad Dodik at a press conference.
He said that the decision has not been made because they want to talk to the opposition, following today's meeting with the ruling coalition.
The RS election law has not come into force due to the veto by the Bosniaks in the Council of Nations, and the ruling party in the RS has previously stated that they fear a Kosovo scenario will be repeated due to the boycott of the CIK elections.
