Spain condemns Dodik's actions: He threatens the country's stability

"Recent actions by the authorities of (Bosnia's Serb-majority region led by Dodik) Republika Srpska, contrary to the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina, threaten the territorial integrity and stability of the country, which are crucial for the entire Western Balkans region", said the statement.

The condemnation comes days after Dodik signed decrees promulgating laws adopted by the Republika Srpska National Assembly. These laws prohibit the operation of key state judicial institutions, including the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH, the Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of BiH.

On March 7, the Constitutional Court of BiH issued a temporary measure halting the implementation of these laws.

"We call for full respect for the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the judicial decisions of the Constitutional Court issued on Friday, March 7. We call on all political actors to reduce tensions and continue dialogue, for the benefit of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina," the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Spain is the latest among the numerous countries that has condemned Milorad Dodik's actions.
