“The organisational board will act within the Foundation, and the Foundation is closely linked to the Srebrenica Memorial Centre,” said Fejzic.

The meeting confirmed the appointment of the board management for the 19th and 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide this and next year.

Fejzic was reappointed the board chairman, and his deputies are Damir Pestalic, Emir Suljagic and Sefket Hafizovic. Mirsad Besic was appointed the board secretary general and Nermin Alivukovic the board secretary.

“I believe that there is no need to change the team that worked well and put a lot of effort into marking the previous anniversary in a dignified way. Given that the next year is the 30th anniversary of the commemoration of the genocide, we have a great responsibility and obligation to organise everything properly. This is our obligation to the victims of genocide,” said Fejzic.
