The Srebrenica Memorial Center hosted a discussion titled "Communications and the Srebrenica Memorial Center: Lessons Learned" on Saturday. It was an opportunity to talk about the improvement of digital communications, the presentation of a new web portal, but also the prospects for future improvement of activities to raise awareness about the genocide in Srebrenica.
The spokesperson of the Srebrenica Memorial Center, Almasa Salihovic, pointed out the daily communication with about twenty journalists from the leading BiH media, who are a constant support in spreading the story of Srebrenica, the Memorial Center announced.
With the support of the Government of the United Kingdom through the project “Truth, Dialogue, Future,” several trainings of the Memorial Center team were realized, and a new version of the website was finalized.
“We had the honour, but also the great responsibility to participate in the project of creating a new web portal for the Srebrenica Memorial Center. Aware of the importance of the digital format, we tried to create a website according to the latest technical standards in order to preserve the memory of the victims of genocide in Srebrenica, and preserve the truth and investigate the crimes of genocide,” Emir Agic from the “LAMPA Studio” said, setting up a new official site for the Memorial Centre.
Fabrika team also took part in the creation of the website by donating a new visual identity, followed by the work of several graphic designers, Azra Kadic, Dino Hujic and Ahmed Hodzic.
The Srebrenica Memorial Centre is present on all relevant online platforms.
