Starlink high-speed satellite internet to launch in Bosnia within weeks

Following a meeting with Starlink’s Director of Global Licensing and Market Activation, Rebecca Slick Hunter, Forto emphasized that this infrastructure represents a significant opportunity to compensate for the country's lagging development in high-speed broadband access.

"We cannot move forward as a country without the infrastructure that enables companies and citizens to access such internet," Forto stated.

He explained that there is also a possibility of collaborating with Starlink to connect schools to high-speed broadband, focusing on areas where the need is greatest and where traditional infrastructure remains undeveloped.

Slick Hunter expressed her satisfaction with the imminent launch of Starlink services in Bosnia and Herzegovina and thanked local institutions for their support throughout the process.

She added that further details regarding service pricing, which will cover the entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be released in the coming period.
