State police allegedly seized 124 kg of cocaine in Siroki Brijeg

The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) seized a large amount of a powdery substance resembling cocaine in the area of Siroki Brijeg, in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This information was confirmed for N1 by Jelena Miovcic, spokesperson of SIPA.

“It is true that in the area of Siroki Brijeg, 124 kilograms of a powdery substance was found, which in appearance resembles the intoxicating drug cocaine. Due to the ongoing investigation, she cannot provide any more information,” she said.

Bljesak reported that, according to unofficial information, the substance was found in the warehouse of a company. Workers allegedly found the cocaine in packages of bananas.
