State prosecutors file amended indictment against six over Sanski Most and Manjaca war crimes

The suspects face allegations of participating in a joint criminal enterprise involving the unlawful detention of thousands of non-Serb civilians under severe physical and mental abuse. According to case details, at least forty detainees lost their lives, while more than 1,600 were forcibly transferred to the Manjaca military camp and subsequently deported from the country.

The submission follows procedural delays after the initial paperwork was returned for amendments. The case previously drew internal friction involving prosecutor Izet Odobasic and Chief State Prosecutor Milanko Kajganic, resulting in mutual disciplinary complaints filed with the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor regarding case management and year-end quotas.
