"A country you have to kill for is not yours, a country you die for – is." this was the inscription on one of the banners carried by those gathered in Musala Square in Mostar. In the center of the city on the Neretva River, a protest in support of Palestine began at 12 pm.

Earlier, the Mayor of Mostar said that he was not in favour of gatherings of support for either of the warring parties, neither Israel nor Palestine.

This morning, the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK) Police briefly told N1 that they did not authorise the gathering, however, they were present at the meeting place, Musala Square.

In addition to the protest rally, a humanitarian bazaar is also taking place. All the proceeds will go to aid for Palestine.
