Swedish MP Magnus Jacobsson drew the Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde's attention to the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and pointed out that if new military conflicts broke out, it could in the worst case lead to a new bloody war in Europe.

Jacobsson sent a formal written question to the Minister, describing the situation and calling for an end to "nationalist separatism from the Bosnian entity of Republika Srpska, which, with Russia's support, risks breaking-up Bosnia and Herzegovina."

Magnus Jacobsson wants Sweden, the EU, and the UN to prevent Bosnia from falling apart as a state. Jacobsson is the vice-president of the group in the Swedish Riksdag, which works on issues concerning the Western Balkans. He is a member of the Swedish Christian Democratic Party (KD) and has written about the Srebrenica genocide in Sweden's largest Christian media outlet.
