Bosnian prime minister Zoran Tegeltija met on Friday with his North Macedonia counterpart Zoran Zaev and he reaffirmed the commitment of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the process of European integration, with full compliance with the constitutional competencies of all levels of authority in BiH.
The two officials met on the sidelines of the international conference ‘Western Balkans: The Missing Puzzle for Completing Europe’, taking place in Ohrid, North Macedonia.
They also talked about how to improve the bilateral relations between the two countries and strengthen the trade exchange.
Tegeltija informed Zaev about the political and economic developments in BiH, and how the country is dealing with the challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The officials agree that the European integration process is demanding and difficult but that it is important to gain trust and show the ability to meet the obligations. They expressed the interest of both countries in the improvement of regional initiatives in the context of better connectivity.
