The Sarajevo University Clinical Centre confirmed for N1 that ten people have been found infected with the Omicron COVID-19 variant.

“Out of one hundred positive samples for SARS CoV 2, detected on December 27, 10 percent showed the presence of this variant,” the Clinical Centre told N1.

Goran Cerkez, Assistant to the Health Minister of Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, also confirmed this information but argued that the COVID-19 situation in FBiH is stable.
