The Russian national football team announced on its official website that it will play a friendly match against Tajikistan on November 17, which should mean that the Russia-BiH friendly match scheduled for November 19 in Saint Petersburg will not take place.

The Tajikistan-Russia match will take place on November 17 in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. The Tajikistan coach is Petar Segrt, who also coached Zvijezda from Gradacac during his career.

The Urgency Committee of the BiH Football Association gave its consent for the Russia-BiH match, but such a match will most likely not take place. There is still no official announcement from the umbrella organization of BiH football that the Russia-BiH match is cancelled.
