The situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina has not been this bad in a very long time, and this development worries foreign ambassadors, said in an interview with N1 Julian Borger, the foreign policy editor of The Guardian. According to Borger, who knows Bosnia well, new sanctions against Milorad Dodik, both European and American, could happen soon.
In his opinion, should the situation worsen, the international military presence should be reexamined to avoid clashes between the state and entity parallel structures if Dodik’s announcements of pulling out of BiH Armed Forces comes true.
At the same time, Borger adds that Milorad Dodik is seen in diplomatic circles as someone who diverts attention with such actions from his problems.
According to these circles, the Guardian editor added, the situation in BiH should soon be a topic of discussion in NATO.
