Thick fog disrupts flights at Sarajevo International Airport

The affected flights included those operated by Austrian Airlines (Vienna), Croatia Airlines (Zagreb), and Turkish Airlines (Istanbul). This morning's scheduled departures for the same airlines were also cancelled due to persistent fog.

Additionally, today's cancellations include flights by Flynas (Jeddah) and two flights operated by AjET (Istanbul), according to a statement from Sarajevo International Airport.

The airport continues to monitor weather conditions and, in coordination with airlines, will provide updates regarding any changes to the flight schedule.

“Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport via the official website, www.sia.ba, or directly with their airlines,” the airport stated.
