A timelapse video taken by N1 shows how the fog and smog enveloped the city on Friday morning.
Sarajevo was at about 7:00 a.m. on Friday third on IQAir’s list of cities with the worst air quality. The pollution index was 240, which is means the air was very unhealthy air.
The concentration of harmful PM2.5 particles in Sarajevo is currently 111.1 micrograms per cubic meter, which is 22 times higher than normal parameters.
