Tragic incident in Sanski Most: Three dead, one fighting for life in school shooting

The incident took place in a building shared by the Mixed Secondary School and the Sanski Most Gymnasium. Among the dead are the director of the Sanski Most Gymnasium, an English language teacher, and the school secretary. The shooter is reported to be a school janitor who, after committing the murders, attempted to take his own life.

The suspect was transported to the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska (UKC RS), where medical professionals have provided an update on his condition. According to UKC RS, the patient arrived at the Urgent Care Center with a gunshot wound to the chest. He is currently conscious, and diagnostic procedures are underway, with surgery planned. The medical team noted that any further prognosis would be premature at this stage.

Sources indicate that the janitor had ongoing disputes with the school administration and had previously complained about discrimination. A disciplinary procedure was reportedly underway against him, and this morning, he allegedly targeted and shot the members of the disciplinary committees involved in his case. Reports also suggest that the suspect had been struggling with mental health issues.
