After meeting with Bosnia’s Foreign Minister Biser Turkovic, Turkey’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was "interested in the trilateral summit of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Turkey".
Cavusoglu said in Sarajevo that Turkey had led an initiative to establish trilateral cooperation mechanisms in the Western Balkans. He added that Ankara continues to strongly support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of BiH, as well as its Euro-Atlantic integration.

He also commented on the fact that he met alone with the Bosnian Serb member of BiH’s tripartite Presidency, Milorad Dodik, to discuss various projects.
“Dodik is a member of the Presidency of BiH, we meet with everyone and discuss only in formats of meetings that are acceptable to everyone,” he said.
Turkovic said that Turkey has an important and very constructive role in the region.
The ministers then signed an agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on the income-generating activities of dependent members of diplomatic missions and consular offices and a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Turkovic said the interstate agreements will strengthen relations between the two countries and facilitate diplomatic communication and cooperation.
