The Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, Sinisa Karan, announced Monday that two commanders at the Secondary School of Internal Affairs have been relieved of their duties. They have also been subject to disciplinary proceedings due to misconduct at the school.

“Actions have been taken against the two commanders for inappropriate behaviour at the Secondary School of Internal Affairs, where they abused their authority and engaged in improper contact with a minor student,” Karan stated.

He explained that the measures were implemented in coordination with the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka.

“The case was not reported by the student but uncovered through internal controls. The commanders have been reassigned to different roles, and a disciplinary procedure has been launched,” Karan revealed while responding to a parliamentary inquiry at the RS National Assembly session.
