Two more patients die after Tuzla retirement home fire, death toll reaches 15
Two additional patients injured in the fire at the Tuzla retirement home have died in the past 24 hours at the University Clinical Center (UKC) Tuzla, hospital officials confirmed on Thursday.
According to UKC Tuzla spokesperson Ersija Asceric Mujedinovic, five patients remain hospitalized.
"Two patients are currently being treated at the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, one of whom is on a ventilator. One patient is hospitalized at the Clinic for Internal Medicine, and two are at the Clinic for Pulmonary Diseases," she stated.
The fire, along with injuries sustained as a result of the incident, has so far claimed the lives of 15 people. Another 20 individuals were injured.
