The session will focus on the latest semiannual report on the situation in the country, covering the period from April to October this year, as well as a vote on extending the mandate of the EUFOR Althea mission.
According to media reports, the Office of the High Representative's (OHR) semiannual report provides a stark assessment of the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with particular emphasis on obstruction and secessionist rhetoric coming from the entity of Republika Srpska.
The document warns of systematic efforts to undermine state institutions, disregard decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH, and attempts to establish a parallel legal order.
Chairman of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović will also attend the session. Acting High Representative Louis Crishock did not travel to New York.
