US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina condemned the verbal attack by Milorad Dodik, the president of Bosnia's Republika Srpska entity, against N1 reporter, saying that this is “yet another example of his campaign to silence and intimidate media in Bosnia and Herzegovina.” 

“His repeated attacks on journalists and the Republika Srpska National Assembly’s recent decision to criminalise defamation represent a dangerous authoritarian trend aimed at suppressing freedom of expression,” the embassy said.

It also condemned this and all other attacks on journalists, stressing it would “continue to support the free and professional media in BiH which play a vital role in securing accountability and advancing democracy.”

EU Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina also condemned Dodik's verbal attack on N1 reporter, while the BH Journalists Association announced a request towards competent state agencies regarding Dodik's claims about “monitoring” of N1 and its work.
