The United States recognised Bosnia’s independence exactly 31 years ago, on April 7, 1992, the US embassy recalled on their Twitter account, reiterating their ongoing support for BiH.

“Thirty-one years ago today, on April 7, the United States recognized Bosnia and Herzegovina’s independence, the official beginning of our strong partnership,” the embassy wrote.

“For over three decades we have stood with BiH and its people by strongly supporting its independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and multiethnic character as well as its future in the Euro-Atlantic community of nations,” they concluded.
