United States Special Envoy for Electoral Reform, Matthew Palmer, and director of the European External Action Service (EEAS), Angelina Eichhorst, are meeting with members of both houses of Bosnia’s Parliament to discuss electoral and constitutional reform in the country on Wednesday.
Palmer and Eichorst are staying in the country until January 30.
The joint visit is part of the ongoing efforts of the European Union and the United States in BiH focusing on reforms needed for the country to make a decisive step on its path to the EU, eliminate discrimination and strengthen democratic civil rights.
The two will also meet with civil society representatives and leaders of political parties in BiH.
