Cavoli's visit comes on the day when a military exercise that gathered troops from 20 countries starts in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He paid a visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina last year as well as well, when members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States Army organised a demonstration exercise as part of the joint multi-day action “Quick Response 21” at the Manjaca training ground near Banja Luka in the north of the country.
