US investment opportunities and High Representative selection discussed in Sarajevo

The US Embassy chargé d’affaires informed Komsic about talks he held regarding the possibility of new investments from the United States in the energy, infrastructure and real estate sectors.

Komsic said that investments from the United States are welcome not only because of their economic importance but also as an indicator of investment security in Bosnia, which could provide additional encouragement to other investors.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on current processes related to the selection of a new High Representative in BiH, as well as the need to continue discussions on reform legislation that would help improve the investment climate and attract new investments to Bosnia.
