Vienna takes permanent care of Srebrenica Memorial, historic step for culture of remembrance

The City of Vienna has officially signed a Deed of Gift (Schenkungsurkunde) under which the 'Srebrenica Flower' memorial has been permanently transferred into the ownership of the City of Vienna and incorporated into the system of cultural heritage sites and public memorials maintained by the city authorities.
